Pigney’s going from strength to strength with Kubota
Cumbria-based H.Pigney & Sons Ltd, one of the region’s machinery dealers for the agricultural, horticultural and forestry industries, is going from strength to strength since joining forces with Kubota UK.
The company was appointed the dealer of Kubota UK’s high performance agricultural solutions last year and business is booming, with H.Pigney & Son already achieving sales in to double figures of brand new tractors to farmers across the region.
David Pigney, owner of H.Pigney & Son Ltd, said: “Becoming a Kubota agriculture dealer has enabled us to take the business to a new level. Not only is the machinery range in the up to 170 horse power category second to none, but Kubota’s commitment to aftersales and service also reflects our own dedication to servicing and parts, which remains very much at the core of our success.”
Founded in 1824, H. Pigney & Son Ltd is a sixth generation, family owned business based in the centre of Appleby in Westmorland.
David continued: “I am absolutely delighted with how well the Kubota brand has been received by our customers. Kubota has a fantastic reputation in the construction and groundcare sectors for producing high performance and reliable machines that don’t let people down. This has generated a lot of interest with farmers wanting to see if Kubota’s agricultural tractors match up to the quality and reliability of what they would expect from the Japanese manufacturer. The feedback we are getting from our customers and potential customers on how well the Kubota tractors perform and how much value they add to farm operations is superb.”
Kubota is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of tractors and agricultural equipment. The company is celebrated the world over for its product quality, reliability, robustness, excellent aftersales service and superb dealer network.
The company has invested significantly in growing its agricultural product range, most recently with the launch of its M7 Series tractors. This follows an investment by the Kubota Corporation of over 40 million Euros in its European tractor production facility in France, which produces over 3000 tractors a year and further increases the brands already impressive global pedigree.
