Description
The Husqvarna 372 XP a professional range chainsaw specifically build to handle the most testing of situations and trying of environments. Tasks such as general logging and feeling are where the 372 XP comes into its own. Typical lightweight and high power ratio means, like all other Husqvarna chainsaws, the saw can perform powerfully with less strain on limbs.
Ergonomics has always been essential in the design of Husqvarna’s chainsaws and indeed all their other machinery. Features like Smart Start, which allows the engine to start with minimum user effort and LowVib, which is a design feature that controls vibration in the carburettor and in-turn lowers volume levels and minimises fatigue, have made the saw a solid choice of the professionals.
Other feature that add to the machines ease of use are, improved front handle ergonomics improving grip with a 7° offset handle that also reduces fatigue. An adjustable oil pump also improves usability by allowing the operator to control oil flow depending on weather conditions. An easy to access, side-mounted chain tensioner only adds to the 372XP’s brilliant usability.
Whilst ergonomics are essential, durability is pretty important too and cutting the need for many services comes high on the Husqvarna agenda. Quick release air filter and air filter cover make cleaning and replacing the air filter easy. Extra high duty three-piece forged crankshaft and magnesium crankcase mean the chainsaw can handle even the roughest of applications – improving service life in the long run too. Another factor improving service life is the centrifugal air cleaning system removes larger dust and debris particles before the enter the filter.
For safety reasons the 372 XP is fitted with an inertia activated chain brake which reduces chances of injury through kickback and automatically shuts off power if a sudden jolt upwards may occur.
